FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  500 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN  NEW YORK
 
   ...ALLEGANY COUNTY...CATTARAUGUS COUNTY
 
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING ACROSS CATTARAUGUS AND ALLEGANY
COUNTIES HAVE DEPOSITED AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAINFALL
OVER THE WARNED AREA THIS EVENING.
 
ALLEGANY STATE PARK OFFICIALS REPORTED SEVERAL INCHES OF WATER FLOODING
NUMEROUS CAMPGROUNDS AND FLOWING ACROSS RT. 2 NEAR QUAKER...AND THE KANE
HOLLOW CAMPGROUNDS.
 
REPORTS OF SEVERAL INCHES OF WATER ON STREETS IN THE TOWNS OF OLEAN IN
AND ANDOVER HAVE ALSO BEEN RECEIVED.
 
ADDITIONAL MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL MOVING ACROSS THE WARNED AREA WILL
LIKELY CONTINUE TO CAUSE FLOODING OF POOR DRAINAGE AREAS OVERNIGHT.
 
A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.  NEVER DRIVE ACROSS A FLOODED ROADWAY.
 
STREAMS...RIVERS...OR CREEKS CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS.
DON/T CAMP ALONG STREAMS OR CREEKS DURING THREATENING RAINS.
