SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  330 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS
 
   ...WESTERN OSBORNE COUNTY
 
AT 238 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 25 MILES NORTHEAST
OF HAYS OR 5 MILES NORTHWEST OF NATOMA. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE NORTH
NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH. LARGE HAIL...GUSTY WINDS IN EXCESS OF 50 MPH AND
DEADLY LIGHT CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM. THIS STORM WILL BE NEAR
ALTON BY 3 PM CDT.
 
 
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
