THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MINNEAPOLIS HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  830 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA
 
   ...NORTHWESTERN REDWOOD COUNTY
 
AT 749 PM...A STATE TROOPER REPORTED TWO FUNNEL CLOUDS 5 MILES WEST
OF MILROY...OR ABOUT 20 MILES SOUTHWEST OF REDWOOD FALLS.  THE FUNNEL
CLOUDS HAD EARLIER BEEN ON THE GROUND BUT HAD JUST LIFTED.  IT IS VERY
POSSIBLE THEY WILL DROP BACK TO THE GROUND AS TORNADOES.
 
THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR...AND WILL
AFFECT VESTA AND BELVIEW BY 830 PM.
 
 
HEAD FOR THE BASEMENT NOW!  DON'T GO OUTSIDE TO LOOK FOR THE
FUNNELS...IT COULD BE BEARING DOWN ON YOUR LOCATION.  GET UNDER
SOME STURDY FURNITURE...OR UNDERNEATH A STAIRWAY TO AVOID
WIND BLOWN DEBRIS.  MOBILE HOMES SHOULD BE ABABNDONED.
