FLASH FLOOD WARNING         EFFECTIVE UNTIL  745 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA
 
   ...EASTERN MARTIN COUNTY
 
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH TORRENTIAL RAINS HAVE PERSISTED OVER THE
EASTERN PORTIONS OF MARTIN COUNTY THIS AFTERNOON. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF
OVER 4 INCHES SINCE 230 PM...APPROXIMATELY 2 MILES SOUTH OF FAIRMONT.
 
SOME CITIES INCLUDED IN THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING ARE FAIRMONT...EAST
CHAIN...AND GRANADA.
 
EXPECT HEAVY RAINFALL TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE EVENING.  PERSONS RESIDING
IN LOW LYING AREAS AND ALONG RIVERS AND LAKES SHOULD TAKE EXTRA
PERCAUTIONS FOR POSSIBLE FLASH FLOODING.
 
FLOOD WATERS ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.  DRIVING THROUGH HIGH WATER
IS THE WORST THING YOU CAN DO.  TWO FEEBT OF MOVING WATER IS
ENOUGH TO CARRY AWAY MOST CARS.  IF YOUR CAR BECOMES STALLED
IN HIGH WATER...ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY.
