IN CENTRAL FLORIDA ...ORANGE COUNTY AT 1235 AM...A LINE OF SEVERE STORMS EXTENDED FROM JUST EAST OF OCALA TO JUST WEST OF CLERMONT TO JUST WEST OF LAKELAND. RADAR INDICATED POSSIBLE TORNADOES FROM NEAR GROVELAND TO SOUTHWEST OF BAY LAKE. THIS AREA IS ABOUT 25 MILES WEST OF ORLANDO. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT. THE SAFEST PLACE IS AN INTERIOR ROOM SUCH AS A CLOSET ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF A STRONG BUILDING. AVOID WINDOWS.
