000 TTAA00 KDDC 060129 TORDDC KSC189-060200- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS 829 PM CDT WED MAY 5 1993 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DODGE CITY HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS ...STEVENS COUNTY AT 830 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A TORNADIC THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES EAST OF HUGOTON. THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTH AT 15 MPH AND WILL CONTINUE MOVING NORTHWARD CROSSING HIGHWAY 56 NEAR MOSCOW BY 845 PM CDT. IF YOU LIVE IN OR NEAR THE PATH OF THIS STORM TAKE SHELTER NOW!!! THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS STORM. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO tA SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE... GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE. AVOID WINDOWS. ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A STURDIER BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
