THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  715 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH NEW JERSEY
 
   ...CAMDEN COUNTY
 
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING FOR THE
COOPER RIVER AT HADDONFIELD.
 
HEAVY RAIN THIS MORNING OF NEARLY TWO INCHES HAS CAUSED SIGNIFICANT
STREET AND HIGHWAY FLOODING ACROSS THE COUNTY AND ON THE COOPER
RIVER WHICH HAS A FLOOD STAGE OF 2.8 FT. THE RIVER IS CLOSE TO
2.6 FT AT 4 AM.
 
RADAR SHOWED RAIN...HEAVY AT TIMES...OVER CAMDEN COUNTY AND THE
SURROUNDING COUNTIES. AN ADDITIONAL ONE HALF INCH OF RAIN WILL
CAUSE THE COOPER RIVER TO RISE OUT OF ITS BANKS THIS MORNING.
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNED COUNTY IN AN AREA SUBJECT TO FLOODING
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.  DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS.
CLIMBING ATOP YOUR STALLED VEHICLE WILL NOT PREVENT YOU FROM
BEING SWEPT INTO DANGEROUS STREAM CONDITIONS AS WATER LEVELS RISE.
