THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MINNEAPOLIS HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  930 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN CENTRAL MINNESOTA
 
   ...RENVILLE COUNTY
 
THE NATIOANL WEATHER SERVICE IS UPGRADING THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING TO A TORNADO WARNING FOR ALL OF RENVILLE COUNTY.
 
AT 835 PM...A POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS REPORTED NEAR THE TOWNS OF
DANUBE AND SACRED HEART. FARMS WERE REPORTED DESTROYED NEAR DANUBE
AND WINDOWS WERE BLOWN OUT OF HOMES NEAR SACRED HEART. THESE
CITIES ARE LOCATED ROUGHLY 15 MILES NORTH OF REDWOOD FALLS
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.
 
PERSONS IN DANUBE AND SACRED HEART SHOULD GO TO THE BASEMENT
IMMEDIATELY.
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A
BASEMENT.  GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
IF NO BASEMENT IS AVAILABLE...SEEK SHELTER IN AN INTERIOR ROOM
SUCH AS A CLOSET ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  USE BLANKETS...PILLOWS...
