000 TTAA00 KRST 041308 SVRRST MNC049-041345- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ROCHESTER MN 806 AM CDT FRI SEP 4 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ROCHESTER MN HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 830 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA ...NORTHERN GOODHUE COUNTY AT 810AM CDT...THE ROCHESTER COLOR WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES WEST OF RED WING. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR AND SHOULD MOVE INTO THE TOWN OF RED WING BY 825 AM CDT. WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING..MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS. DON'T USE TELEPHONES OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOS WITH LITTLE OR NO WARNING. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A STRONG BUILDING.l DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN... AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE.
