SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING     EFFECTIVE UNTIL  745 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA
 
   ...SOUTHERN WASHINGTON COUNTY
 
AT 720 PM...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS OCCURRING NEAR WOODBURY IN
SOUTHERN WASHINGTON COUNTY OF THE GREATER TWIN CITIES METRO AREA IN EAST
CENTRAL MINNESOTA. THIS WAS ABOUT 5 MILES SOUTHEAST OF DOWNTOWN ST PAUL.
MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR. CITIES INCLUDED IN THIS
WARNING ARE WOODBURY...COTTAGE GROVE...AND AFTON. THREE-QUARTER INCH
HAIL WAS REPORTED AT 710 AM IN WEST ST PAUL AND SOUTH ST PAUL FROM THIS
STORM.
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE ADVANCE WARNING
