000 TTAA00 KSBN 140142 SVRSBN INC091-140215- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SOUTH BEND IN 842 PM EST (842 PM CDT) MON JUL 13 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SOUTH BEND HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 915 PM EST (915 PM CDT) FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTH CENTRAL INDIANA ...NORTHERN LAPORTE COUNTY AT 840 PM EST...RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM NEW BUFFALO MICHIGAN TO MICHIGAN CITY INDIANA...OR FROM 35 MILES NORTHWEST OF SOUTH BEND TO MICHIGAN CITY. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR. TOWNS IN THE PATH OF THIS THUNDERSTORM ARE LAPORTE...AND ROLLING PRAIRIE. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
