000 TTAA00 KFSD 161856 TORFSD SDC003-035-161930- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SIOUX FALLS SD 154 PM CDT TUE JUN 16 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SIOUX FALLS HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 230 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES... IN SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA ...AURORA COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA ...DAVISON COUNTY AT 250 PM RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO JUST NORTH OF STICKNEY. THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. THE CITIES MOST THREATENED ARE MT VERNON...LOOMIS AND MITCHELL. THIS STORM HAS ALREADY PRODUCED GOLF BALL SIZED HAIL IN PLANKINTON. DO NOT USE YOUR CAR TO TRY TO OUTRUN A TORNADO. IF YOVU ARE CAUGHT IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...LEAVE THE CAR AND GO TO A STRONG BUILDING. IF NO STRUCTURE IS NEARBY...SEEK SHELTER IN A DITCH OR LOW SPOT.
