000 TTAA00 KDDC 172357 COR SVRDDC KSC007-033-180030- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING...CORRECTED FOR SPELLING OF BARBER COUNTY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS 549 PM CST TUE MAR 17 1992 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DODGE CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 630 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS ...NORTHWESTERN BARBER COUNTY...NORTHEASTERN COMANCHE COUNTY AT 545 PM...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED ABOUT 12 MILES EAST OF COLDWATER OR 27 MILES SOUTHWEST OF PRATT. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT ABOUT 10 MPH AND WILL BE NEAR THE BARBER COUNTY BORDER ABOUT 5 MILES SOUTH OF SUNSET BY 615 PM. ALTHOUGH THERE ARE NO INDICATIONS OF A TORNADO...THIS STORM WILL LIKELY PRODUCE LARGE HAIL...HIGH WIND AND TORRENTIAL RAINFALL.
