THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 AM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL OHIO
 
   ...ERIE COUNTY...HURON COUNTY
 
URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING MAY OCCUR IN THE WARNING AREA.
 
AT 910 PM RADAR SHOWED A NARROW BUT STRONG LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM THISLANDS THROUGH WILLARD IN HURON COUNTY. OVER HALF AN INCH OF RAIN FELL
IN FINDLAY IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS THIS EVENING AND MONTPELIER HAD OVER AN
INCH THIS EVENING.
 
SINCE THE GROUND IS SATURATED MORE INTENSE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING
OF ROADS AND SMALL STREAMS. THE HEAVY RAIN SHOULD END BY 10 PM IN THE
WARNING AREA...HOWEVER...FLOODING OF ROADS AND STREAMS WILL LAST FOR
AWHILE.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
