   IN THE EAST CENTRAL PART OF LOWER MICHIGAN
      ARENAC...

COUNTIES JUST MENTIONED

AT 627 PM... THE SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT REPORTED FUNNEL CLOUDS
JUST NORTH OF STERLING... ABOUT 32 MILES NORTH OF BAY CITY...
AND ONE NEAR ALGER... ABOUT 35 MILES NORTH OF BAY CITY.

THERE WAS SOME DAMAGE TO A HOUSE NORTH OF STERLING.

ANOTHER REPORT OF A TORNADO AT JOSE LAKE... ABOUT 42 MILES
SOUTH OF ALPENA.

THESE TORNADOES WERE MOVING ERRATICALLY TO THE NORTHEAST
