THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE WEST CENTRAL PART OF LOWER MICHIGAN
      SOUTHEAST NEWAYGO

AT 520 PM EDT...THE STATE POLICE REPORTED A TORNADO ON THE
GROUND 7 MILES EAST OF NEWAYGO HEADING EAST THROUGH CROTON
TOWNSHIP IN NEWAYGO COUNTY...30 MILES NORTHEAST OF MUSKEGON.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO...GO TO A BASEMENT SHELTER IF
AVAILABLE...OTHERWISE GO TO A CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR. ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING.
