FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA
 
   ...LE FLORE COUNTY
 
HEAVY RAINS CONTINUE OVER LEFLORE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA. DUE
TO THE PAST HEAVY RAIN MANY STREAMS AREA OUT OF BANKS AND ROADS
WATER COVERED. PERSONS LIVING NEAR SMALL STREAMS AND LOW LYING AREAS
SHOULD SEEK HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
 
 
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT.  IT'S
IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR
CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS.  CAMPERS SHOULD
AVOID CAMPING ALONG STREAMS OR CREEKS DURING THREATENING RAINS.
