THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN WEST CENTRAL NEW JERSEY

   ...MERCER COUNTY

HEAVY RAINS IN EXCESS OF 2 INCHES HAVE CAUSED A RAPID RISE ON THE
ASSUNPINK IN DOWNTOWN TRENTON. THE RIVER GAGE WAS READING 6.2 FT AND
RISING RAPIDLY. FLOOD STAGE IS 7 FT. THE RIVER SHOULD RISE TO ABOUT
7.5 FT IN THE NEXT 30 MIN. ANY ADDITIONAL RAINS WILL ADD TO THE
CREST STAGE.

IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNED COUNTY IN AN AREA SUBJECT TO FLOODING
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.  DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS.
CLIMBING ATOP YOUR STALLED VEHICLE WILL NOT PREVENT YOU FROM
BEING SWEPT INTO DANGEROUS STREAM CONDITIONS AS WATER LEVELS RISE.
