SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  315 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...

AT 230 AM CDT MINNEAPOLIS RADAR DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR
DEER PARK ABOUT 35 MILES WEST OF EAU CLAIRE IN WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN
IN EXTREME NORTHERN ST CROIX COUNTY. THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM HAS THE
POTIENTAL FOR LARGE HAIL..GUSTY SURFACE WINDS AND BRIEF PERIODS OF HEAVYRAINS AS IT MOVE NORTH AT 25 MILES AN HOUR. THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WILL MOVE INTO THE AMERY AND LITTLE FALLS AREAS OF SOUTHEAST POLK
COUNTY DURING THE NEXT HALF HOUR.
 
 
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.  HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO
DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
 
WINDS IN EXCESS OF 75 MPH..MAKE THIS A DANGEROUS STORM. YOU SHOULD
PREPARE FOR STRONG WINDS..LARGE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAIN
BY MOVING TO SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING. REMEMBER SEVERE
