THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MINNEAPOLIS HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  300 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN
          ...NORTH CENTRAL PIERCE
 
AT 218 AM CST A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED OVER THE CITY OF
ELLSWORTH LOCATED ABOUT 35 MILE WEST OF EAU CLAIRE IN WEST CENTRAL
WISCONSIN. LOTS OF HAIL IN THE PEA TO DIME SIZE CATAGORY WAS COVERING
CITY STREETS AND ROAD SURFACES WERE BECOMING ICY. THIS SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM STILL HAS THE POTIENTAL FOR LARGE HAIL..BRIEF HEAVY
DOWNPOURS AND GUSTY WINDS.  THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING NORTH
AT 25 MILES AN HOUR AND SHOULD MOVE INTO THE MARTEL AREA WITHIN THE
NEXT HALF HOUR.
 
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE ADVANCE WARNING
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
