SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 435 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
IN WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA
...POPE...SWIFT
AT 345 AM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS DETECTED BY RADAR NEAR MORRIS IN
STEVENS COUNTY OF EXTREME WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...20 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF ALEXANDRIA. IT IS MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 45 TO 50 MILES AN HOUR
AND WILL BE MOVING THROUGH POPE AND SWIFT COUNTIES OF WEST CENTRAL
MINNESOTA. CITIES IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM INCLUDE GLENWOOD
AND STARBUCK IN POPE COUNTY...AND APPLETON AND BENSON IN SWIFT COUNTY.
THESE STORMS HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS AND HAIL.
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING..MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING
