THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MONTGOMERY HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 PM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 
IN SOUTH ALABAMA
          ...LOWNDES...MACON...MONTGOMERY
 
AT 935 PM CST MONTGOMERY RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS MOVING THROUGH
LOWNDES AND MONTGOMERY COUNTIES. ALSO HEAVY RAIN WAS REPORTED IN MACON
COUNTY. THE THUNDERSTORMS AND RAIN WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST ABOUT
40 MPH.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLAShH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
