THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE CENTRAL PART OF NEBRASKA
      SOUTHEAST CUSTER

AT 955 PM CDT THE PUBLIC REPORTED A POSSIBLE TORNADO NEAR THE
TOWN OF MASON CITY IN THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF CUSTER COUNTY.
LITCHFIELD IS ABOUT 70 MILES EAST OF NORTH PLATTE NEBRASKA.

THIS TORNADO WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MILES AN HOUR...AND WILL
MOVE INTO SHERMAN COUNTY NEBRASKA BY 1005 PM CDT.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE IS IN
A BASEMENT.  GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
