THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF NEBRASKA
      MADISON...PIERCE

AT 730 PM CST RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM LOCATED FROM
15 MILES NORTHWEST OF NORFOLK TO 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF NORFOLK.
SPOTTERS REPORT CARS BLOWN OFF ROAD NEAR BATTLE CREEK 10 MILES WEST
OF NORFOLK.  WIND ESTIMATED 50 TO 60 MPH.  THESE STORMS WERE MOVING
TO THE NORTHEAST 30 MPH.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY
LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING
AREA.  SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN ALSO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE
OR NO WARNING.

IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE...TAKE SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING.  REMAIN
INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.  TAKE SHELTER
IN AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.

 A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF NORTHEAST NEBRASKA
