FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 PM EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN CENTRAL INDIANA

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A THUNDERSTORM DROPPING LARGE
AMOUNTS OF RAINFALL WAS NEARLY STATIONARY OVER WESTERN HANCOCK COUNTY.
THE AREA AROUND THE TOWNS OF MOUNT COMFORT...GREENFIELD...AND NEW
PALESTINE HAD BEEN UNDER THE THUNDERSTORM SINCE ABOUT 745 PM EST. SOME
FLOODING OF ROADWAYS AND LOW LYING AREAS IS IMMINENT.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT cWHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
