THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SIOUX FALLS HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  600 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA
          ...SOUTHERN TODD
 
A TOWNS INCLUDED IN THIS WARNING ARE OLSONVILLE AND ST. FRANCIS.
THERE ARE NO OTHER TOWNS IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM.
 
AT 522 PM CDT STATE RADIO REPORTS INDICATED THAT A TORNADO WAS
ON THE GROUND ABOUT 10 MILES EAST OF ST. FRANCIS...OR ABOUT 45
MILES SOUTHWEST OF WINNER SOUTH DAKOTA. THE TORNADO WAS HEADING
EAST/SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH....TOWARD THE TOWN OF OLSONVILLE.
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A
BASEMENT.  GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
IF NO BASEMENT IS AVAILABLE...SEEK SHELTER IN AN INTERIOR ROOM
