THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SIOUX FALLS HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  500 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA
          ...EASTERN TODD
 
THERE ARE NO TOWNS IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO.
 
AT 430 PM CDT A STATE TROOPER REPORTED THAT A TORNADO WAS ON
THE GROUND ABOUT 11 MILES SOUTH OF MISSION NEAR HIGHWAY 83. THE
TORNADO WAS MOVING EAST AT ABOUT 30 MPH.
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A
BASEMENT.  GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
