000 TTAA00 KCHA 040140 SVRCHA TNC065-040245- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHATTANOOGA TENNESSEE 938 PM EDT THU MAY 3 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHATTANOOGA TENNESSEE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1045 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS IN SOUTHEAST TENNESSEE ...HAMILTON COUNTY AT 930 PM EDT THE CHATTANOOGA WEATHER RADAR INDICATES A POSSIBLE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WESTERN SECTIONS OF CHATTANOOGA. PUBLIC REPORTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED OF 3/8 INCH HAIL NEAR MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ON GLENWOOD DRIVE IN CHATTANOOGA. THIS STORM IS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST INTO NORTHERN HAMILTON COUNTY TOWARD SODDY-DAISY. WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING. DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.
