THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE STATE OF TEXAS
      WESTERN TRAVIS...EASTERN WILLIAMSON

AT 1245 AM CDT WEATHER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WERE FROM
WEST OF AUSTIN NORTHEAST THROUGH ROUND ROCK TO NEAR TAYLOR.

OVER 3.50 INCHES OF RAINS HAS FALLEN IN NORTHWEST AUSTIN SINCE
10 PM TONIGHT.  ALSO STRONG GUSTY WINDS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE
THUNDERSTORMS.

REMEMBER...DEATHS DURING FLASH FLOODING ARE FREQUENTLY RELATED TO
MOTORISTS DRIVING INTO FLOODED LOW WATER CROSSINGS OR FROM CHILDREN
PLAYING NEAR FLOODED STREAMS OR DRAINAGE AREAS.
