THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 530 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE WEST CENTRAL PART OF IOWA
      CRAWFORD

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR IS OCCURRING.
TAKE THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS IMMEDIATELY.

IN THE PAST 2-3 HOURS THUNDERSTORMS HAVE REPEATEDLY MOVED
THROUGH CRAWFORD COUNTY...PRODUCING SIGNIFICANT RAINS OVER
GROUND THAT WAS ALREADY SATURATED.  AT 110 AM...THESE RAINS
HAD ALREADY RESULTED IN WATER IN THE HOUSE IN AT LEAST HOME
IN THE TOWN OF MANILLA.

PEOPLE IN FLOOD PRONE OR LOW LYING AREAS SHOULD MOVE TO HIGHER
GROUND AT ONCE.  ACT QUICKLY...AS FLOOD WATERS OFTEN RISE RAPIDLY.
IF YOU ARE DRIVING...DO NOT TRY TO DRIVE THROUGH FLOOD WATERS OF
UNKNOWN DEPTH.  IF YOURV VEHICLE STALLS...ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY
AND SEEK HIGHER GROUND.
