FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  900 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS
          ...EASTERN FINNEY
 
AT 545 AM CDT THE US HIGHWAY 50 NEAR THE GARDEN CITY AIRPORT IN FINNEY
COUNTY WAS UNDER ABOUT SIX INCHES OF WATER. HEAVY RAINS EARLY THIS
MORNING HAVE DUMPED HEAVY ACCUMULATIONS OF RAIN IN THE GARDEN CITY
AIRPORT VICINITY.
 
ALSO THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR EASTERN FORD COUNTY
KANAS NEAR FORD KANSAS ALONG HIGHWAY 154 AND THE FORD-ENSIGN ROAD NEAR
FORD KANSAS UNTIL 745 AM CDT. THIS FLASH FLOOD WARNING MAY NEED TO BE
EXTENDED UNTIL LATER THIS MORNING DUE TO CONTINUING RAINS IN THE AREA.

IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT

THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM... EVEN A SMALL
ONE... ON FOOT.
