THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  615 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...
 
IN NORTHEAST OHIO
          ...CUYAHOGA
 
AT 305 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER
MUCH OF CUYAHOGA COUNTY. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE LOCATED OVER THE
EASTERN PORTION OF THE COUNTY. FLOODING HAS BEEN REPORTED IN AND
AROUND WARRENSVILLE AND SHAKER HEIGHTS WHERE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN REPORTED
TO BE STRANDED IN CARS.
 
THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE NEARLY STATIONARY AND WILL CONTINUE TO
INTENSIFY UNTIL AT LEAST 5 PM. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS... SMALL HAIL...
AND GUSTY WINDS WILL ALSO OCCUR.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT.  TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
