THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 650 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE
FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF NORTHEAST COLORADO:
NORTHWESTERN MORGAN
EAST CENTRAL WELD
INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING TOWNS/CITIES:
GOODRICH..NEW RAYMER..ORCHARD..STONEHAM..WELDONA..WIGGINS
AND FORT MORGAN
AT 6PM ONE STORM WAS LOCATED 11 MILES WEST OF ORCHARD..WHICH IS 20
MILES EAST OF GREELEY. OTHER STORMS STRETCHED TO THE SOUTHEAST INTO
WESTERN MORGAN COUNTY. STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.
THREE QUARTER INCH HAIL WAS REPORTED SHORTLY BEFORE 6PM ALONG EXIT 57
OF INTERSTATE 76 WEST OF WIGGINS.
THESE STORMS CAN PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE
WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE
