EFFECTIVE UNTIL 830 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF SOUTH DAKOTA
      SPINK

SOME OF THE CITIES INCLUDED IN THIS WARNING ARE ATHOL...ASHTON...
TURTON

AT 754 PM CDT  RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO NEAR ATHOL...30
MILES SOUTH OF ABERDEEN. THE STORM THAT CAUSED THIS WAS MOVING EAST
AT 30 MPH.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO...YOU SHOULD GO TO A BASEMENT
SHELTER IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE GO TO A CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE
LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE. CARS AND MOBILE HOMES SHOULD BE ABANDONED FOR

AT 735 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN HAD
FORMED 10 MILES WEST OF REDFIELD SOUTH DAKOTA...40 MILES SOUTH OF
ABERDEEN...MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH.

THIS STORM CAN CAUSE HIGH WIND...SMALL HAIL...AND HEAVY RAIN IN AN AREA
THAT IS STILL WET FROM THE WEEK END RAINS.

IF YOU LIVE IN SPINK COUNTY YOU SHOULD BE ALERT TO THE WEATHER UNTIL
ABOUT 830 PM CDT WHEN THIS STORM SHOULD WEAKEN.
