000 TTAA00 KEWR 240623 FFWEWR NJC041-240800- BULLETIN-IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEWARK NJ 220 AM EDT SAT JUN 24 1989 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 400 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF NORTHWEST NEW JERSEY...WARREN MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN HAS MOVED INTO WARREN COUNTY DURING THE PAST HOUR. THIS IS ADDING TO LOCALLY HEAVY SHOWERS WHICH OCCURRED DURING FRIDAY AFTERNOON. FLOODING OF SOME SMALL STREAMS IS OR WILL BE OCCURRING SHORTLY...AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS WILL COLLECT WATER RAPIDLY. PERSONS LIVING IN FLOOD-PRONE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR RISING WATER AND MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY...AND MOTORISTS SHO ULD NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE ACROSS FLOODED ROADS. MOORE
