THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 930 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE SOUTHEAST PART OF MINNESOTA
      SOUTHEAST HOUSTON

THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE TOWNS OF FREEBURG AND RENO IN THE
SOUTHEAST PART OF HOUSTON COUNTY.  AT 840AM HOUSTON COUNTY SHERIFF
REPORTED A FUNNEL CLOUD 20 MILES SOUTHWEST OF LA CROSSE WISCONSIN
JUST SOUTH OF CALEDONIA MINNESOTA MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH.

IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A
BASEMENT.  GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
IF NO BASEMENT IS AVAILABLE...SEEK SHELTER IN AN INTERIOR ROOM ON
THE LOWEST FLOOR.  USE BLANKETS OR PILLOWS TO COVER YOUR BODY.
AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED
