THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE SOUTH CENTRAL PART OF MINNESOTA
      WASECA...STEELE

THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE TOWNS OF WASECA AND OWATONNA MINNESOTA.

AT 330 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN SOUTH CENTRAL
MINNESOTA 15 MILES SOUTH OF MANKATO NEAR MAPLETON TO THE IOWA
BORDER 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF ALBERT LEA.  THE STORMS WERE MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH TOWARD ALBERT LEA...WASECA...AND OWATONNA.

IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM...GO TO A REINFORCED
SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY
RAIN...AND LIGHTNING.

REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE
TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  BE ON THE LOOKOUT.

  A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR
  EAST PART OF FARIBAULT AND ALL OF FREEBORN COUNTY
  UNTIL 415 PM CDT.

  A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED
  AREA UNTIL 800 PM CDT.
