THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 945 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF NEBRASKA
      NORTHERN CUMING

AT 2111 THE NORFOLK RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO IN THE
NORTHERN PART OF CUMING COUNTY ABOUT 10 NORTHEAST OF WISNER OR
ABOUT 30 MILES TO THE NORTHEAST OF NORFOLK.  THE TORNADO WAS
MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 10 MILES AN HOUR TOWARD THE
TOWN OF PENDER.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE IN
THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO TAKE SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF POSSIBLE.
OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR.  AVOID
WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES...TAKE COVER IN A REINFORCED
BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.

  A TORNADO WATCH CONTINUES IN EFFECT FOR A PART OF NORTHEAST
 NEBRASKA UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS SUNDAY EVENING.
