AT 640 PM EDT THE GUERNSEY COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED A FUNNEL CLOUD 4
MILES WEST OF CAMBRIDGE. THE FUNNEL CLOUD WAS MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH.

SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AKRON CANTON OH 530 PM EDT TUE OCT 10 1989 THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING THROUGH EASTERN OHIO LATE THIS TUESDAY AFTERNOON. AT 530 PM EDT A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDED FORM JUST NORTH OF CLEVELAND, OH THROUGH LOUDENVILLE, OH TO SOUTHWESTERN COSHOCTON COUNTY. THE THUNDSRSTORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST TO EAST AT 30 MPH. SOME 1/2 INCH TO PEA SIZE HAIL HAVE BEEN REPOIRTED WITH SOME OF THESE STORMS. THE PEA SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED AT DALTON, OH IN WAYNE COUNTY AND 1/2 INCH HAIL NEAR LOUDENVILLE, OH WHICH IS IN RICHLAND COUNTY. MARTIN
