THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE SOUTHWEST PART OF MISSOURI
      DALLAS

AT 450 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
FROM 20 MILES NORTH TO 50 MILES SOUTHWEST OF SPRINGFIELD MOVING
TO THE NORTHEAST AT 40 MILES PER HOUR. THESE STORMS WILL AFFECT
THE CITY OF BUFFALO.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS..IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH
..DESTRUCTIVE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR
PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR
HOME OR BUSINESS.

HEAVY RAINS WILL QUICKLY FLOOD SMALL STREAMS AND LOW LYING AREAS.

A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.

THESE STORMS CAN PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.
BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
