THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 400 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA...SOUTHEAST DAKOTA


AT 333 PM CDT...THE PUBLIC REPORTS A TORNADO JUST SOUTH OF
HASTINGS ALONG HIGHWAY 316 IN SOUTHEAST DAKOTA COUNTY ABOUT
25 MILES SOUTHEAST OF DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS.

THE STORM SHOWS LITTLE MOVEMENT AT PRESENT.  NEW TIER AND
MIESVILLE APPEAR TO BE NEAR A POSSIBLE PATH FOR THIS TORNADO.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE IN
THE PATH OF A TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE.
OTHERWISE..GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A
REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
