THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN...
 CHIPPEWA AND EAU CLAIRE


AT 327 PM CDT MINNEAPOLIS WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM JUST EAST OF WHEELER IN EXTREME EASTERN DUNN
COUNTY OF WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN...OR ABOUT 20 MILES NORTHWEST
OF EAU CLAIRE. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING TOWARD THE
EAST SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH.

THE THUNDERSTORMS PROJECTED TRACK WILL CARRY IT NEAR OR THROUGH
THE CITIES OF EAU CLAIRE...COLFAX...CHIPPEWA FALLS...AND BLOOMER
BY 430 PM CDT.

REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 60
MPH..DESTRUCTIVE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. ALSO
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONtALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH
LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED
TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
