THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN...
 SOUTHERN POLK


AT 220 PM WEATHER RADAR INDICTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN
SOUTHWEST POLK COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN BOUT 30 MILES
NORTHEAST OF DOWNTOWN MINNEPOLIS OR ABOUT 20 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF AMERY WISCONSIN. THESE STORMS ARE MOVING TO THE EAST SOUTHEAST
AT 35 MPH. CITIES IN THE ATH OF THE WARNING ARE AMERY..CLEAR
LAKE AND RICHARDSON.
REPORTS FROM SOMERSET WISCONSIN INDICATED NUMEROUS TREES DOWN
AND DAMGE TO HOUSES.

REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 60
MPH..DESTRUCTIVE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. ALSO
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCXE A TORNADO WITH
LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED
TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
