THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO AND SPECIAL MARINE
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES

OF NORTHERN MICHIGAN..CHIPPEWA

AT 635 PM PUBLIC REPORTED A TORNADO ON TH GROUND AT PIAT LAKE ABOUT
35 WEST OF SAULT STE MARIE MI.  THIS STORM IS MOVING EAST AT ABOUT
40 MPH.

THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS
TORNADO SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND..IF AVAILABLE.
OTHERWISE..GO TO A SMALL CENTRAL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
POSSIBLE. ABANDON CLARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING.
