THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...BARTON...CEDAR...CHRISTIAN...DADE...DALLAS...
 GREENE...JASPER...LACLEDE...MCDONALD...NEWTON...POLK AND VERNON

RAINFALL OF BETWEEN 7 AND 10 INCHES OVER THE LAST SEVERAL DAYS AND
MORE FALLING HAS PRODUCED CONDITIONS FOR FLOODING. RUNOFF WILL BE
SLOWED DUE TO THE SATURATION OF THE GROUND. SEVERAL CITIES HAVE
HAD TO EVACUATE A NUMBER OF RESIDENTS DUE URBAN FLOODING.

PERSONS IN LOW LYING AND FLOOD PRONE AREAS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR
RAPIDLY RISING WATER AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY.

CAMPERS ALONG CREEKS AND STREAMS SHOULD NOW MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIV-E OR WALK THROUGH RAPIDLY FLOWING WATER.
