THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 545 PM CDT  FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

CENTRAL MINNESOTA..POPE..WESTERN STEARNS..NORTHERN
KANDIYOHI..INCLUDING THE CITIES OF GLENWOOD..SAUK CENTRE..AND NEW
LONDON


AT 445 PM RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORNMS IN ALL OF
POPE COUNTY AND SOUTHEAST GRANT COUNTY MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MILES
AND HOUR.

LARGE HAIL OF GOLFBALL SIZE TO MARBLE SIZE FELL IN THE LOWRY AREA OF
NORTHWEST POPE COUNTY.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE VERY HEAVY RAIN..HAIL AND DAMAGING
WINDS.
