000 TTAA00 KMSP 312244 SVRMSP MNC037-163-WIC109-093-312345- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MINNEAPOLIS MN 444 PM CST MON MAR 31 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 545 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF EAST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...NORTHERN DAKOTA AND SOUTHERN WASHINGTON WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN...WESTERN ST CROIX AND WESTERN PIERCE AT 430 PM ONE INCH HAIL WAS REPORTED NEAR THE STATE CAPITOL IN ST PAUL MN. NUMEROUS OTHER REPORTS OF PEA TO THREE FOURTH INCH HAIL HAD BEEN RECIEVED DURING THE PAST HALF HOUR AS THE LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MOVED EAST AT 35 TO 40 MILES AN HOUR. CITIES AFFECTED BY THIS WARNING INCLUDE APPLE VALLEY...COTTAGE GROVE IN MINNESOTA AND HUDSON AND PRESCOTT IN WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE STRONG DAMAGING WINDS..LARGE HAIL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ALSO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED. MILLER
