AT 1250 PM CDT...THE SPRINGFIELD NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR
INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ENTERING THE NORTHERN SECTIONS
OF CHAMPAIGN AND VERMILION COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS.
THE LINE OF STORMS WAS DRIFTING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT ONLY ABOUT 10
MILES AN HOUR.

DUE TO THE SLOW RATYE OF MOVEMENT OF THE STORMS...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS
CAN BE EXPECTED AND PERSONS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR FLOODING...ESPECIALLY
