THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO AND SPECIAL
MARINE WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 230 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE
FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

SOUTH CAROLINA...EASTERN BEAUFORT
...THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS FOR THE
COUNTY JUST MENTIONED

THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF HILTON HEAD

COASTAL WATERS FROM CALIBOGUE SOUND TO HUNTING ISLAND

AT 1.32 PM EDT THE BEAUFORT COUNTY SHERIFF DEPORTMENT REPORTED
THAT TWO TORNADOES HAVE MOVED INLAND NEAR HILTON HEAD WITH
SEVERAL WATERSPOUTS OFFSHORE.  THEY WERE MOVING SOUTH ALONG
PALMETTO DUNES.

IF YOU ARE NEAR THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO..YOU SHOULD GO TO A
BASEMENT SHELTER IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE GO TO A CENTRAL INTERIOR
ROOM.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED SHELTER.
