000 TTAA00 KBUF 162228 SVRBUF NYC037-121-162330- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BUFFALO NY 628 PM EDT MON JUN 16 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 730 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF NEW YORK...GENESEE AND WYOMING AT 530PM EDT BUFFALO RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM LAKE ONTARIO NORTH OF ALBION NEW YORK SOUTHWEST THROUGH BUFFALO TO NEAR ERIE PENNSYLVANIA THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 50 MPH. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE TORNADOES. BE ON THE ALERT FOR THUNDERSTORMS ACCOMPANIED BY FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRONG DAMAGING WINDS AND LAR}GE HAIL.
